The Cocoa Police Department in Brevard County, Florida, has upgraded its fleet with the introduction of 2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Police motorcycles, described as the fastest and most technologically advanced police motorcycles the manufacturer has ever produced.
New Harley-Davidson Motorcycles Join Cocoa PD Fleet
Officers in Cocoa are now patrolling city streets aboard the high-performance 2026 Road Glide Police models. The department says the new bikes deliver performance levels that rival Harley-Davidson’s premium Custom Vehicle Operations lineup, marking a considerable leap over previous police motorcycles equipped with 107 and 114 engines.
Enhanced Capabilities for Traffic Enforcement
The upgraded motorcycles are expected to bolster the department’s traffic enforcement operations significantly. With greater horsepower and modern onboard technology, officers will be better equipped to patrol streets, respond rapidly to incidents, and enforce traffic regulations across a range of public safety scenarios.
Fleet Services Team Prepares Bikes for Duty
City officials recognized the work of the city garage’s Fleet Services Team, which handled all of the preparation needed to get the motorcycles street-ready for active patrol duty. The department stated that the additions are part of an ongoing commitment to providing officers with up-to-date tools and equipment to serve and protect the community effectively.
With the new motorcycles now operational, Cocoa police officers will benefit from increased power, advanced technology, and expanded operational capability on the road.
