The City of Palm Bay has announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Fire Station 7, set for April 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at the station’s location at 2144 Palm Bay Road and is open to the public and media.
Replacing an Aging Facility
Fire Station 7 was built to replace the former Fire Station 1, which was demolished in January 2022 using funds from a FY 2020–2021 Community Development Block Grant. The original station site had sat vacant for eight years and qualified under U.S. Housing and Urban Development regulations as a public facility improvement project in a low- to moderate-income area. The new station is designed to address growing public safety demands in the northeast section of Palm Bay.
Modern Emergency Response Capabilities
The newly constructed facility features modern, state-of-the-art infrastructure to support firefighters and emergency response personnel serving the surrounding community. City officials have described the project as a continued investment in public safety and emergency preparedness.
Additional details about the event, including parking and access information, will be provided by the City of Palm Bay as the date approaches. Residents interested in attending the April 14 ceremony can contact city offices for more information.
