Titusville Woman Arrested After Graffiti Vandalism Targets Downtown Businesses
TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A woman has been arrested in connection with an overnight graffiti spree that damaged more than a dozen properties in the downtown Titusville area, including businesses and a religious building, according to the Titusville Police Department.
Officers Respond to Reports of Widespread Vandalism
Titusville Police responded to the 400 block of Main Street on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at approximately 9:40 a.m., following reports of graffiti vandalism to multiple properties. The damage is believed to have occurred overnight between January 9 and January 10. As officers began their investigation, additional business owners and employees arriving for their morning shifts discovered graffiti on their own properties, expanding the scope of the incident.
Graffiti Tags Identified Across Multiple Properties
Multiple locations were spray-painted with tags including “roselovenevergiveup,” “roselove88,” “rose,” and other variations. A business in the 300 block of South Washington Avenue had surveillance cameras that captured the suspect in the act.
Suspect Identified and Located
Based on the surveillance footage and community cooperation, officers identified the suspect as Helenrose Daisy Moreno, 28, described as a transient individual with ties to Miami and California. Later that same day, around 3:00 p.m., officers located Moreno near the Titus Landings shopping plaza. She was found in possession of a black jacket, a red hooded jacket, and a backpack consistent with what was shown in the surveillance video. Officers also found a distinctive wide-tip specialty chisel Sharpie marker on her person that appeared to match the graffiti at the affected businesses.

She faces the following charges: Multiple Counts of Criminal Mischief on Religious Building, Multiple Counts of Felony Criminal Mischief, and Multiple Counts of Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief.
