The Melbourne Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in the theft of a lawn trailer and landscaping equipment from the 1100 block of West Hibiscus Boulevard. The incident occurred on March 20, 2026, at approximately 12:22 p.m.
Details of the Theft
According to investigators, the suspect was driving an older-model Chevrolet or GMC SUV when they stole a lawn trailer loaded with professional landscaping equipment. The vehicle was last observed traveling westbound on Hibiscus Boulevard after the theft.
The stolen items include two John Deere lawn mowers, Echo weed eaters, and Echo leaf blowers. The total value of the stolen property has not been publicly disclosed.
