The Brevard Humane Society is hosting the 14th Annual East Coast Dog Surfing Festival at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026. The event brings together dog lovers and beachgoers for a day of canine surfing competitions, costume contests, and family-friendly entertainment.
Event Highlights
The festival features surfing competitions in which dogs take to the waves at one of Brevard County’s most popular beaches. In addition to the surfing events, attendees can enjoy an Easter costume contest, where dogs dress up in holiday-themed outfits for prizes. Meet-and-greet sessions with some of the competing surfing dogs will also be available throughout the day.
Registration and Requirements
All dogs attending the festival must be registered for beach access, and owners are required to provide proof of vaccinations in compliance with Brevard County regulations. Organizers encourage participants to register in advance to ensure a smooth check-in process.
Prizes and Entertainment
With thousands of dollars in prizes up for grabs across multiple competition categories, the festival promises a full day of surf, sand, and memorable moments. Organizers expect large crowds for what has become one of the Space Coast’s most beloved spring traditions.
