A 19-year-old music contractor who worked within Brevard Public Schools has been arrested and charged with 11 felony sex offenses involving a student at Bayside High School in Palm Bay, according to court records and Palm Bay Police Department information.
Arrest and Charges
Brandon Charles Foreman, 19, was taken into custody on January 9, 2026, at Southwest Middle School by Palm Bay police. According to records filed with the Brevard County Clerk of Courts, Foreman faces 11 felony charges: ten counts of lewd or lascivious molestation of a victim between the ages of 12 and 16 by an offender over the age of 18, and one count of unlawful solicitation of sexual conduct by an authority figure. All charges are second-degree felonies under Florida law. Court documents indicate the alleged offenses occurred on or about December 6, 2025.
Contractor’s Role and Access to Students
According to a Palm Bay Police source, Foreman initially worked as a percussion instructor under contract with Florida public schools before advancing to a lead instructor role approximately one year later. During that time, he conducted private music lessons with students on school grounds, which parents were reportedly aware of. Records from Brevard Public Schools also show he was contracted with Southwest Middle School.
The police source stated that Foreman admitted to an inappropriate relationship with a student, describing conduct that included kissing and fondling. The identity of the student involved has not been released.
District Response
Brevard Public Schools notified families that Foreman had provided percussion instruction at three district schools and confirmed he has been permanently banned from working in any role within the school district. Parents seeking additional details were directed to contact the Palm Bay Police Department.
Court Proceedings
Foreman appeared for an initial court hearing on January 10, at which a judge found probable cause and set bond. An arraignment is scheduled for February 3, 2026, at the Moore Justice Center. The case remains under active investigation.
As with all criminal cases, the charges filed against Brandon Charles Foreman are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
